If you come to Korea then take advantage of the opportunity and NETWORK. Facebook and Craigslist is the place to find a lot of opportunity. There are internships and jobs unpaid and paid if you have a good major and skills.
One of the things I do is volunteer write for the top English Technology Website in Korea, betech.asia. It was a good opportunity to get into my field and meet with people who are hiring and building business in my chosen field.

I also attend meet ups such as Business in Korea, Drink Entrpreneurs and Seoul Tech Society.
